1. Who is responsible for your data
CLOOTHE is operated by Adrien de Oliveira in France. For privacy questions or requests, email deoliveira.adrien@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Website and private preview
- Waitlist information: your first name, email address and the date you joined.
- Technical information: limited server and security logs that may include an IP address, browser information, request time and requested page.
- Optional analytics: if you choose to allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive online identifiers, device and browser information, and your interactions with this website.
- Messages: information you choose to include when you contact us.
The public website does not currently ask you to upload wardrobe photos, body measurements or payment information.
Google user data
CLOOTHE uses Google OAuth for a private, owner-operated SEO research tool. When the authorized owner connects a Google Ads account, the tool may access:
- the Google Ads customer identifier needed to address an authorized API request;
- OAuth credentials and tokens needed to maintain the authorized connection; and
- Keyword Planner responses, including keyword ideas and historical keyword metrics.
The tool does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars or personal advertising audiences. It does not create or change campaigns, ads, budgets or bids.
3. How we use information
- to manage the CLOOTHE waitlist and send important private-preview updates;
- to respond to questions and privacy requests;
- to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website;
- if you allow it, to understand aggregate website use and improve the site;
- to conduct private keyword and search-demand research for CLOOTHE; and
- to comply with applicable legal obligations.
Google user data is used only to generate and evaluate private keyword research for CLOOTHE. It is not used to serve advertising, build advertising profiles or make automated decisions about individuals.
4. Legal bases
Where the European General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on your consent for waitlist emails, our legitimate interests to operate and secure the service, performance of a request you make, and legal obligations where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Analytics choices
Analytics are optional. We only load Google Analytics after you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent notice. Choosing “No thanks” does not affect your use of the site. You can change this choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser, then returning to the site.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal data or Google user data. We may use infrastructure providers that host the website, database or email systems, acting only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the security and rights of CLOOTHE or others.
We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers or unrelated third parties. CLOOTHE's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Storage, security and retention
Waitlist information is stored for as long as needed to manage the private preview, until you ask us to remove it, or for 24 months after our last meaningful communication, whichever comes first. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
OAuth credentials are stored in an owner-only environment, separate from the public website and source repository. They are retained only while the authorized Google connection remains necessary and may be revoked through the Google Account permissions page. Private keyword research records are retained while needed for reproducibility and planning.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw waitlist consent at any time by emailing us. You may also revoke Google access from your Google Account.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL.
9. International transfers
Some infrastructure providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections.
10. Children
The website and private research tool are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as CLOOTHE evolves. We will publish the revised date here and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. We will not use Google user data for a new purpose without the disclosures and consent required by Google policy and applicable law.
